History of KENO

The legend tells that the number lottery KENO is one of the most ancient lotteries in the world and it originates from China where it was called Lottery of White Pigeon because white pigeons drew the winning numbers of the lottery and the income from the game was used for the construction of the China Wall. How to play KENO?

1. Receive free coupon at the sales place. Each coupon has two panels.

2. Choose Keno type - with how many numbers (from 1 to 10), you wish to participate in the draw and mark your choice with X.

In the game field mark with X so many numbers as you have chosen.

A computer may choose the numbers also - in this case it will be a quick pick.


3. Choose and mark with X the stake of the game. The possible choices are LVL 0.10, 0.20, 0.30, 0.40, 0.50, 1.00, 2.00 and 4.00. The amount of the winning depends on the stake.

4. Choose and mark with X the number of draws you wish to participate. The possible choices are: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12 or 14 draws. The price for participation in the lottery depends on the stake and the number of draws. (For example, if you have chosen the stake LVL 0.10 and participate in 2 draws, the price shall be LVL 0.10 x 2 = LVL 0.20).
By choosing only one number, the probability of winning is high, however, the amount of the winning - small. By choosing all 10 numbers the probability of winning will be not that high, however, the possible winning may 60 000 times exceed the payment for participating in the game. The prize fund is 46%.

The cells without multipliers - no winning. The amount of the winning depends from the multiplier and the stake.

The price for participation in the lottery depends on the stake in each panel, total number of panels, in case of system game, number of draws, but does not depend on quantity of the crossed out numbers (Keno type).

For example:
1. If you have marked 10 numbers out of which 10 are correct and your stake is LVL 1.00, the winning is 60 000 x LVL 1.00 = LVL 60 000.

2. If you have marked 6 numbers and none of which is correct and your stake is LVL 0.40, you get the amount of your stake LVL 0.40 (1 x LVL 0.40 = LVL 0.40).
